Whether interior or exterior, moisture levels change and wood being the amazing material that it is, is subject to movement caused by moisture. But did you know that moisture in wood can change the sheen of the painted surface?
Seal all edges, that is paint the top edge and the bottom edge, if you have solid wood doors. This will stop the easy transfer of moisture. Given grain structure this can mean the difference between beautiful doors and truly beautiful doors.
